Jo Yuri, formerly of disbanded IZ * ONE, hosted an online showcase on Thursday to release his first solo album.

“I was so nervous getting the album ready, but I feel calm in front of the showcase,” she said, admitting that she felt the right amount of tension and worry.

The mini album “Glassy” consists of three songs, including the main song of the same title.

“[The title track] reminded me of a fairy tale. And I tried to express the mood both by singing and dancing, ”she explained.

Filling a song only with its own energy was the most difficult factor, but it also gave him the opportunity to grow.

Her 2.5 years with the band is a valuable experience both as a human and as a singer, and remains a fond memory, she said, thanking her former bandmates as she said: ” We always support each other “.

Defining her identity as “growth,” she said she was on her way to becoming an artist who shows diversity, not limited by concepts and genres.

Winner’s Kang Seungyoon and Song Mino shared the joy of their respective solo concerts with a live chat with fans on Wednesday.

This is the two’s first time hosting a live solo show and they proudly displayed the posters.

Kang chose the name “Passage” for his own, slated for November 21, as the live show is in line with his debut studio album “Page”. He will show the passage he has traveled and will project himself through music that crosses genres, as he did in the first LP.

“Everything in this picture can be a clue,” Kang said, asking fans to guess.

“It seems pretty obvious,” Song said, making Kang laugh.

Song chose “Maniac” as the title of his concert.

“Among many candidates, I heard that you chose him to be this strong,” Kang teased. Song admitted that was the reason, but added that he also wanted to unleash his unique energy through music.

“I would love to do a powerful performance like this is only possible in a solo concert,” he added.
