Musical program ‘Majhe Kuch Kehna Hai’ of the musical group Sursaz organized

A musical program ‘Majhe Kuch Kehna Hai’ by Sursaz Musical Group was held in the city on Sunday.

Director of Urdu Academy Nusrat Mehdi, Kathak dancer Lata Munshi, singer songwriter Ghazal Salim Allahwale were present.

The singers presented more than 30 old songs in front of the music lovers of the city. There were the duet songs of Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammad Rafi and Asha Bhonsle. There were songs from RD Burman, Laxmikant Pyarelal and many more which made the evening more musical and happy.

Being the wonderful presentation for early music lovers, the show elicited a good response. The event began with ‘Tadbir se Bigdi Hui’.

“Dharti ko Akash Pukare, Chandni Aai Ban Ke Bahar”, “Baidari Balma Tumko”, Kishore Da’s song “Dil Kya Kare Jab Kisi Se”, “Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai”. made this presentation. Tapas Guha and Gyanendra Sharma sang two songs “Yeh Dosti Hum Nahi Todenge” from Sholay movie and “Aapke Aa Jaane Se” from Sanjay Vyas and Sheetal Vyas and “Kajra Mohabbat Wala” from Farhat Khan and Pratibha Dolas. Mahesh Rupani performed two Kishore Kumar songs, “Mere Sapno Ki Rani”, wowed the audience as listeners enjoyed the musical evening with great enthusiasm.

The program was led by poet Shoaib Ali Khan and artist Sajid Premi. The singers were accompanied on the Hindustani musical instruments which added more spice to their performance.

The audience was delighted to see the show. They enjoyed the program wholeheartedly and relived the golden age of Bollywood.
